I wore the Lunartrainers, but haven’t tried the Lunaracers. The Lunar trainer shoes are built for biomechanically efficient runners who are looking for soft cushioning.
The cushioning of the Lunartrainer’s is sooo soft. It feels kind of like a memory foam mattress pad. So, if you are looking for a super soft running shoe, definitely try these out.
The biggest downside of the Lunar’s for me, was their width…the sole of the shoe extends way past where my foot ends on both the inside and outside of the ball of the foot.
