The Kahanas are really cute. I liked the way they look on my feet

They are a stability shoe with a medium amount of midfoot support. There is a noticable arch support as well as a bit of a support on the outside of the foot.
The cushioning is very soft and pillowy.
The toe box is really snug and cozy. They appear to be well built and look like they would be pretty durable and last a long time - but I’m just going on first impressions.
The Kahanas would be a great shoe for a trail runner with normal height arches who needs a touch of support.
