I was in these shoes before learning what kind of runner I am. These are stability shoes for someone who pronates; I happen do better in a neutral cushion shoe. Anyway, these are fairly light and stiff and not too expensive. I think these would be a good choice for a new runner who pronates and doesn’t want to spend a fortune on running shoes.
The Asics 1120 are a good intro shoe for runners just starting out. They are good for runners with straight feet. My feet are pretty curved and I never should have been running in the 1120’s, but they seem to be a good shoe overall.
